TalkPadi is an AI-powered conversational platform operated by Probascent Technologies Limited, a company incorporated in Nigeria. Our platform helps businesses deploy AI chat agents ('Padis') across WhatsApp, website chat, Telegram, and other messaging channels.

Account Information: When you create a TalkPadi account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, and payment information.

Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with our platform, including features you use, pages you visit, session duration, and device information such as browser type, IP address, and operating system.

Knowledge Base Content: When you upload documents, website URLs, or other materials to train your Padi, we process that content to provide the Service.

Conversation Data: Messages exchanged between your Padi and your customers are processed through our platform. This includes the content of those messages and associated metadata.

Communications: If you contact our support team or send us feedback, we retain those communications to help resolve your issues and improve our Service.

Service Delivery: We use your information to create and manage your account, process payments, operate and improve the Padi AI system, and provide customer support.

AI Model Operation: Your knowledge base and configuration data are used to power and personalize your Padi. We do not use your business-specific data to train shared AI models without your explicit consent.

Communications: We use your email address to send transactional messages (account confirmations, billing receipts, security alerts) and, where you have opted in, product updates and marketing communications.

Analytics and Improvement: Aggregated and anonymized usage data helps us understand how the platform is used, identify issues, and improve features.

Legal and Compliance: We may use your information to comply with applicable laws, respond to legal requests, detect fraud, and enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Integrations: When you connect your Padi to WhatsApp, Telegram, or other channels, messages flow through those platforms. Each platform operates under its own privacy policy.

When your customers interact with your Padi, they share information with your AI agent. As the account holder, you are the data controller for your customers' data, and TalkPadi acts as a data processor on your behalf.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of TalkPadi complies with applicable privacy laws relevant to your customers, including obtaining any necessary consents for automated processing and AI interactions.

We process your customers' conversation data only as instructed by you through your Padi configuration and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations.

Conversation history is retained for the period defined by your subscription plan. You may export or delete conversation data from your dashboard at any time.

When you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes.

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments.

Despite our best efforts, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

If we become aware of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

TalkPadi uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the platform, remember your preferences, and analyze usage patterns.
